Sweet Sixteen is set -- we have a new leader!


Heather has made her way to the lead position after Round 2. Heather selected 14 of the possible 16 selections to move into first place. The defending Champion is not messing around -- only one team she selected for the Elite 8 has been eliminated. However, Ali, Eric, Jeremy, Joe, Robert and Teresa have all of their Elite 8 selections still alive. However, I believe Eric should be docked a single point (or 30) because a little bird [cough - his daughter] told me that he had help with his bracket from his neighbor -- whom follows College Basketball very closely. Hmmm... ;-)

OK, so here are the standings following Round 2:

4. Bradley -- 89 points

6. Joe -- 85 points

8. Allison -- 83 points

13. Matt -- 62 points
14. Lindsey -- 28 points

CRAZINESS!! I FREAKING LOVE THIS STUFF. I believe that we might be the coolest freaking family on the Earth! Oh, that, and the most competitive family, too.

Well... we have a few days off. Games do not begin again until Friday -- YIKES! So, Heather gets a few days to soak in the lead and a chance to brag. It's OK, she's going down soon ;-).

    Oh simmer down now, Big Jerry did not help too much. No more help than any of you might have gotten watching ESPN or searching the WWW! (It was really nothing more than an excuse for the two of us to get together on a week night and drink a couple beers!)

    It is ok Eric, I used the president (for one) and yahoo sports for the final four. He he he. No point loss for eric, no point loss for eric, not point loss for eric, ya know unless you want to and then he is that much further from beating me. He he he He. Love you

    Haha, I swear, you better not win this year too. I'm going to be pissed.

    Eric should lose a point, but I won't do that to him. He's going to need it seeings as he has Michigan State winning the whole thing.
